( These cards were shot from 7 yds. with a Glock 17 ) McLaughlin has taught and trained for over two decades from coast to coast and international both in mixed martial arts and firearms. McLaughlin spent fourteen years as a Reserve Deputy for the Oregon County Sheriff's Department in the State of Missouri. For seven of those years he was the Firearms Instructor for the department. McLaughlin has trained almost fanatically for the past twenty years under full time instructors as well as on his own. He is either presently or has been certified as an instructor in the following areas:

McLaughlin has trained extensively with firearms. He has trained in many schools across America, such as: Smith & Wesson and Blackwater U.S.A. just to name a couple. His training ranges from pistols to rifles and shotguns to Tactical Room Entry and Building Searches to Executive Protection and Defense Tactics to Rappelling and K-9 to Scuba Diving and Sky Diving. McLaughlin has also taught at the following places or ranges in the Philippines: The Armed Forces of the Philippines, Taguig, Metro Manila Philippines, May 2002. The Philippine Military Academy (P.M.A.) Range, Bagiuo City, Philippines, May 2003. (P.M.A. is the Filipino equivalent to the West Point Academy in the United States.) The Defense Intelligence Security Group Range (D.I.S.G.) Manila, Philippines, May 2003. (This Range is for training the security Detail for the Filipino Secretary of National Defense. This is equivalent to the Secret Service in the United States.) The Army Adventure Range Metro Manila. Philippines. January 2005 McLaughlin won the High Shooter Award - L.E.T.I. University of Missouri-Columbia Basic Law Enforcement Academy 120 hours, 1990 McLaughlin was honored by the Armed Forces of the Philippines. Certificate of Appreciation - Armed Forces of the Philippines Officers Village Association Inc. 2002. McLaughlin has accomplished several personal goals, one of which is to draw and fire from a tactical holster three rds. and hit center of mass at 7yds. under one second. On more than one occasion McLaughlin has been witnessed shooting his pistol out to 250 yds. and hitting a man size silhouette. He has also been witnessed on many occasions shooting three targets two rds. each under a one second time frame from the first shot to the last shot. ( Check out the video trailer).
